Changes to The Employment Relations and Holidays Acts came into effect on 1 April 2011.
It occurred to us that a good proportion of your smaller clients struggle with creating systems and documentation to ensure essential administration is attended to... so after soliciting feedback from a number of accounting firms, we have also created an Employer Documentation Kit. This kit compiles the basic documentation in a logical format and is designed specifically for you to use with, give or sell to your employer clients. The kit includes checklists, forms and letters covering myriad employment events around recruitment, performance management, leave entitlements and requests, grievance, dismissal and termination - 48 documents in total! We leave it to you as to how you want to use this content with clients. You could make it available (hopefully not for free) at an Employment Seminar, use it with start up businesses, announce that it is available on your website and in your newsletters. Alternatively, you could simply write to every employer client and suggest they acquire it. We’ve also included the Employer Documentation Kit Procedure as your starting point which links all the tools you need to market and compile the kit for clients.
