The system has enabled me to delegate, created time to facilitate client improvement programmes and give me peace of mind that when I am on leave the staff can handle almost every enquiry. My IP enhanced by BFNZ content has made me dispensable. I believe I now have a business not a job.
 
The system together with the info from the May 2006 Big Day Out has improved practice profitability - fee revenue has increased by 60% over the last fiscal year, costs have been increased slightly compared with past years and has flowed through to an increased owner return. I am thrilled that I have a large tax bill and have the cash resources to invest in updated hardware to further improve efficiency. The investment into the system has paid for itself 10 fold. My recommendation to small practices is make the investment on start up because pay back from the software and necessary hardware is less than 18 months - not to do so is sheer madness.

We are using the content essentially as written, just modifying it for our use of Sol6 and then adding some of our own standards.  The more generic templates for reporting to clients are being utilised regularly with great success.
There have been several instances in just the past month where a quick report on business structures and trusts have been run off for clients that have developed into more complex assignments.  The ease with which these reports can be produced makes them a very cost-less way of helping clients who come back to you to follow through and do more for them.  The ability to be able to respond quickly (ie within 36 hours) is really appreciated by clients.
 
Even in a small open-plan office the news and in/out board functions are highly valued.  Rather than bits of paper in files more and more content and standards are on-line and always up-to-date.
Whenever we have a question of either Business Fitness or Acclipse they respond very quickly and are able to either talk you through the problem or log in over the internet to sort something out.  While we are relatively close to the Business Fitness office, the instantaneousness of electronic communications is very useful.
