Viv Brownrigg

Viv is the chief advisor to Business Fitness NZ and was recently awarded a fellowship by the NZ Institute of Chartered Accountants for her outstanding contribution to the accounting profession.

In 2002, recognising a need in the industry for systemisation, Viv founded Business Fitness NZ. Some 9 years later, Business Fitness provides process driven content to just on 400 NZ accounting firms.

Viv also coaches and mentors a number of accounting businesses, using accountability group and one on one methodology and is also author of the biggest NZ benchmarking survey for the accounting industry, the Good, the Bad and the Ugly.   
Viv is a passionate believer that there is no professional better served to make a powerful difference to the SME business in NZ than the Chartered Accountant.

Phillip Walker

With over 20 years' experience, Phil Walker is in strong demand for his specialist taxation advice.  He's a Director of nsaTax and has presented to members of NZICA, NZ Law, the Institute of International Research and university students.  Phil provides specialist taxation advice on our content.


Philip Bell

Phil Bell has over 20 years' tax and accounting experience.  Phil is a Director of nsaTax and holds a Bachelor of Business Studies and a Masters of Taxation Studies with First Class Honours.  Phil provides specialist taxation advice on our content.       

Lisa Murphy

Building on almost 20 years' professional practice, Lisa Murphy has significant experience in managing IRD investigations, year-end tax computations and corporate tax issues.  Lisa is a Director of nsaTax and holds a Bachelor of Business Studies and a Masters of Taxation with First Class Honours.  Lisa provides GST advice on our content.

Bruce Watt 

Bruce Watt has more than 20 years' wide-ranging CA expertise.  As a Director of nsaTax, Bruce provides advice on taxation, finance, management, as well as general accounting.  Bruce provides advice on our content.

Graeme Carruthers 

Graeme Carruthers has 20+ years' taxation experience across all areas of taxation.  Graeme is a Director of nsaTax, prior to which he was a team leader in the investigations area with the IRD.   Graeme provides advice on our content.

Jeff Owens

Jeff Owens has over 24 years' experience in tax and business advisory roles and is the Principal of Owens Tax Advisors.  Jeff is a well known presenter and has published articles and media comment.  Jeff is a member of TINZ and was previously Tax Director of NZICA.  Jeff contributes tax-related content to our content suite.       

Trudi Ballantyne

Trudi Ballantyne has over 20 years' experience in farming and orcharding taxation.  Trudi is a Chartered Accountant and Director of The Business Results Group.  She's also a member of the NZICA Primary Sector Committee.  Trudi is chief advisor on all our livestock valuation and other primary sector related content.

Raymond Khouri

Raymond Khouri has over 30 years' experience in providing business, tax and trust advice to a wide range of clients, from sole traders to large companies. Ray reviews compliance aspects of our workpapers.
