Electronic Workpapers Revamp Are you aware that we are currently doing a major revamp of our core content, the Business Fitness Electronic Workpapers? Right now our compliance reviewer, content manager and content coordinator are all super busy updating and developing functionality. This includes: integrated workpapers, strategies for smaller file sizes, reworked GST and ICA reconciliations, as well as integration with the client database. After consultation with some proactive clients we’ve established a clear plan for the future of our work papers. You can expect the final review and testing to be completed and released in March.

2009 was an interesting year for accountants - with lots of energy spent helping clients overcome some incredibly tough times... 2010 should be more about you though!
As you return from a much deserved holiday, we wish you a Happy New Year and good fortune for the coming year. If you are yet to read our benchmarking report: The Good, The Bad and The Ugly of the NZ Accounting Profession, we suggest you take a look! Having completed it's 6th year with a whopping 152 contributors, this study of the NZ accounting profession is by far the biggest and broadest study of it's kind.
With the GBU momentum building, we plan to further develop this project, making it easier for you to submit your data. In the coming months we will be releasing the 2010 data capture sheet in a range of formats and we encourage all accountants to contribute - after all, in doing so you'll get a FREE copy of the Report.
